I once had the lapis surabaya when i was in indonesia and was craving it for it when i returned, so happy to know that i can get it here in kl. it tastes just like when i ate in indonesia!!
Lapis Surabaya Original was too sweet. It was supposed to be choco layer but its not..instead i was given white cream layer and that spoil the taste as it was very sweet.
I bought this recently, had a slice of it and my mind has been changed! it is not too sweet, the layer in the middle is chocolate and paired with a layer of coffee cream, the flavours go so well together and in addition to that, the buttery cake ties everything together very nicely! Truly a flavour of explosion in my mouth. Really worth a try!
